Shooter James - Millwood Lake

Millwood.  240 Millwood Lake

The homes on these northern islands are built first to withstand katabatic wind off the surrounding mountains, high and cold surf, and infrequent but heavy snowfalls.  Design choices tend toward the rustic although the definition of rustic sort of depends on what the homeowner thinks of logs on walls.

Everett ‘Shooter’ James was raised in a similar landscape a few hundred miles to the east.  Like Eric and Cassandra Stanfield, he considers the climate and the location worth the commute to the city, but long months on the road as the drummer for Flight leaves the house vulnerable to that same weather.  Mackenna assures him she can deal with the wind and the water when he’s gone.
